cornflakes
   Stygg, August 20

i'm all out of focus in poker, should be sooo thankful i logged a 7k plus day today. i *know* i'm running superbad at my home stakes, but i'm also tilting like a stupid nigger, so maybe i don't deserve to run good there. but i run good where it matters (=nl5k) so fuckk all yall

i need more ppl on my msn (looks good). anyone who wants to add me go right ahead, aurelien at telia dotttttt com. only cool people allowed. no bad beat stories i got enough of my own and i don't share them

i feel like i have a lot on my mind but my thoughts are all constipated and i don't know how to convey how i feel right now. add drunkenness to this feeling and you know it's impossible.

bye

Dedication?
   Stygg, August 17

I've been preaching about dedication in poker and how it's one of the most important qualities you can have. Now it seems my own is finally starting to dwindle as a result of grinding religiously for what seems like ages, logging ~50k hands every month. I'll be surprised if I make 25k hands in August, which will likely be my second losing month in -08.

It's not just the fact that poker is getting a bit repetitive, it's also because I've found a game that is completely fucking crazy addictive. Trials 2. Yes, a trials game. If I had to list my least favorite game genres overall, bike & car games would probably be 2nd on the list after RPG (sorry, hate em), but this game hooked me immediately and deserves waaaay better than the 20000 player base it currently has.

I'm currently ranked 88 in the world after logging 95 hours playing. Let me tell you, of all the challenges in all the games I've EVER played (and I've played games since mid 1980's!) passing the last level "Inferno" is probably the hardest I've ever done. I wanted to cry when after one hour I couldn't even pass the first obstacle in that track. It took me hours, but I finally did it. After practising more, I'm down to 1 fault on it. All in all the only thing that kept me from including this game in the "your 10/10 games" thread is its lack of a track editor. But it's a real fkin solid 9.

So this is what is keeping me from poker. Plus next week I start studying for my driver's license. UGH so boring, may pass quickly. Poker is not a top priority atm, but a short break or however long it may end up, might not be a bad thing..

cock (the bird)
   Stygg, August 07

no not the bird, but the dick

august is a cock.

down 22-24k, dont even wanna count. why does this happen so much recently July started the same way, I had to regrind that mfker til I couldnt see straight anymore, now I'm in an even worse position in august and I cant accept it

I havent been drinking in 3 days but today I went for the old Koskenkorva + orange juice combo (finland >> all when it comes to booze). i did this to honor my finnish heritage which I'm very proud of. I'm proud of my french heritage as well but they only make wine wine is lol sissies, liquor (spelling?) is the future

Greece was fun, at least the first 4 days. then both my gf and I got bored, we're restless souls. we were joking about teleporting back to sweden. ok it was an inside joke, but trust me it was funny at the time. Greece was alright, mad props go out to Georgios the waiter. but i say this, if you cant enjoy yourself in a 5star hotel, youre better off staying at home. which is what we'll do in the future.

I need more booze!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

listenign to: cradle of filth - chtulhu dawn (very good)

dont know if I can turn august around.. i know I was very unlucky today (maybe 70% bad luck and 30% bad decisions) but my soul is tired, had enough of regrinding big losses, and 24k (or however much it is) is no piece of cake to regrind. for a long while i've thought about cashing out a BIg amount to leave me well rolled for 2/4 only. remember a winning player at 2/4 still scores wayyyy more than a good working man's salary every month. i don't know. will have to think about it
